G Lakshmi Selvaraj is a dedicated and enthusiastic Dental Hygienist with a strong clinical background and a genuine passion for helping patients achieve and maintain excellent oral health.
Lakshmi holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery and is a GDC-registered Dental Hygienist. Before developing her career in the UK, she worked as a General Dentist and Senior Resident Dentist in India, gaining valuable experience across a broad range of dental treatments and caring for patients of all ages.
Her clinical experience includes preventive and restorative dentistry, paediatric care, oral surgery, orthodontic treatments, root canal therapy and cosmetic dentistry. She has a particular interest in preventive dental care and patient education, helping patients understand their oral health and supporting them in developing effective habits for maintaining healthy teeth and gums.
Lakshmi also has UK experience as a Trainee Dental Nurse, where she worked alongside an implantologist and gained experience assisting with implant procedures, surgical extractions and complex treatments. This has given her a valuable understanding of the wider dental team and a strong focus on patient comfort, safety and high standards of clinical care.
Known for her excellent communication skills and compassionate approach, Lakshmi takes time to build a positive rapport with her patients and explain their care clearly.
