James has worked in the dental industry for over 15 years, alongside 17 years of experience as an optical practice manager. His combined experience has given him a strong understanding of healthcare, patient care and the day-to-day running of busy practices. He is passionate about creating a welcoming, professional and relaxed environment where patients feel valued and well cared for.

At Mere Dentistry, James is committed to building on the fantastic standard of patient care already provided by the practice. He takes pride in ensuring the practice remains a clean, safe and friendly environment, while supporting the dental team to provide the highest possible standards of care and service to every patient.

James lives in Frome with his wife and their two young boys, Jack and George. Outside of work, family time is very important to him and he enjoys getting out and about with them, making the most of the countryside and fresh air.

He enjoys a good game of badminton and still attempts to get out on the golf course whenever time allows! During the warmer summer months, James can often be found enjoying a family barbecue, usually accompanied by a nice cold cider.

More recently, James has discovered a new passion and has started DJing. What began as a bit of fun has quickly become an enjoyable hobby, giving him the opportunity to explore music, learn new skills and enjoy entertaining friends and family.

Whether he's managing the practice, spending time with his family, attempting to improve his golf swing or getting behind the decks, James enjoys keeping busy and making the most of his time both at work and at home.
